Leandro Alves

Leandro Alves has extensive experience in industrial processes, primarily in the production of ethanol. At Raízen since July 2018, Leandro serves as Gestor Processos Industriais I, focusing on safety management and developing a strong safety culture aimed at achieving zero accidents, while also conducting incident investigations and managing training for the team. Previously, Leandro held roles at Atvos, where responsibilities included supporting team operations and improving processes in ethanol production, and at the Secretaria de Educação do Estado do Mato Grosso do Sul, coordinating a technical course on sugar and alcohol. Leandro's career began at Raízen in 2006, progressing from an Operator of Ethanol Production to various managerial positions. Leandro holds a degree in Production Engineering from Centro Universitário da Grande Dourados and a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Fundação Educacional do Município de Assis.
