Founded in 2011 by Mrs. Kavitha Subakar, Rakshana Charitable Trust is a registered nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic care and opportunities for underprivileged children in India. Our mission is to empower these children to break free from the constraints of their circumstances and become responsible, educated, and empowered members of society.

Our Programs: 
 
Child Development and Care: We provide residential care, education, and support to orphaned, semi-orphaned, and underprivileged children. Our Rakshana Home currently houses 35 children aged 5-15, offering them a safe and nurturing environment.

Women Empowerment: We equip women with skills for financial independence through tailoring and embroidery classes.

Elderly Care: We provide monthly provisions and support to the elderly, with plans to establish care homes for the elderly, blind, and handicapped.

Educational Programs: Our computer training program and extra tuition classes ensure that children have the necessary skills for employment and academic success.

Feeding Programs: We provide food to children living on the streets.
Rakshana Home: A Light of Hope

Our Rakshana Home is a rehabilitation center for children in distressed homes. We offer a secure environment, quality education, and emotional support to help these children overcome their challenges and build a brighter future.
