Ashish Chandra

Ashish Chandra is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and AdTech. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Rakuten since December 2022, Ashish previously held the same title at Tokopedia from October 2017 to July 2022, where significant achievements included increasing Ad server revenue by over 40x through algorithm and machine learning integration. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at Guavus, where Ashish implemented advanced data processing systems, and as Engineering Manager at Tribal Fusion, focusing on ad server development and data analytics. Ashish's career began at Aricent, where leadership in technical projects like the Panasonic 3G LTE RNC MW node was pivotal, and further progressed through software engineering roles at Hughes Software Systems. Ashish holds a degree in IT Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a BE in Electronics & Telecommunications from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
