Jacques Marco is a seasoned entrepreneur and finance professional, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Axis since April 2021. Marco is also a Limited Partner at Rally Cap Ventures, which focuses on early-stage investments in fintech startups across LatAm, Africa, and soon Southeast Asia. Previously, Marco co-founded Raseedy, Egypt's first independent mobile wallet, which was acquired in 2020 by MNT-Halan and rebranded as Halan Cash. Prior roles include Financial Analyst and Head of Operations for Electronic Payments and Digitization at MNT-Halan, CFO at Halan, and Investment Banking Analyst at ALEXBANK. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics and Politics from New York University, completion of the HBS-Accion Program in Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance at Harvard Business School Executive Education, and an International Baccalaureate from St. Clare's, Oxford.
