Michael Caswell

Michael Caswell is an accomplished financial professional currently serving as the CFO and a founding team member at Bankaya, a pioneering digital bank in Mexico, since 2019. Additionally, Michael has been a limited partner at Rally Cap Ventures since November 2020, focusing on early-stage fintech investments in emerging markets. Prior experience includes roles at PIMCO, where Michael was a VP, Portfolio Manager, and Bond Trader managing over $250 billion in risky bonds and derivatives from 2014 to 2018; an associate at BlackRock's Financial Markets Advisory Group from 2009 to 2012, involved in the valuation of distressed assets; and a trading analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2008-2009. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Cape Town.
