Michael Nelson is currently the Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Ralliant, where they leverage their extensive experience in IP law to help companies achieve their business goals. Previously, they served in various roles at Fortive as the Assistant General Counsel for the Sensing Technologies Group and at Tektronix, which included positions such as Assistant General Counsel for Patents and Electrical Engineer. Michael holds a J.D. in Intellectual Property from Lewis & Clark Law School and has a strong technical foundation with both a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and Portland State University, respectively.
