Ben Fried

Ben Fried is a seasoned technology executive and venture partner at Rally Ventures since August 2022, where the focus is on investing in early-stage business technology companies. Prior to this role, Ben served as CIO and NYC Site Lead at Google for 14 years, fostering a vision for IT that leveraged Google's engineering strengths to create innovative enterprise solutions. Previous experience includes a tenure as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where Ben designed the firm's e-commerce architecture and led strategies for information technology. Ben also has a foundation in systems engineering from Columbia University, where early roles involved programming and management, alongside contributions to software development at Heuristicrats Research, Inc. Ben holds an AB in Computer Science from Columbia University and graduated from Stuyvesant High School.
