Richard Blown

Richard Blown has extensive work experience in technology and architecture roles. Richard is currently the Chief Technology Officer at RAM Tracking, starting in November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Hermes from 2014 to 2020, holding various roles including Head of Architecture & Innovation and Head of Innovation. At Hermes, they were responsible for creating architecture roadmaps, driving innovation, and mentoring team members. Before Hermes, Richard worked at Aviva from 2008 to 2014 as a Solution Architect and Principal Software Engineer. Richard'sresponsibilities included designing and developing frameworks, leading technical teams, and implementing technology visions. Richard also has experience working at IBM, where they held roles such as Technical Lead, Lead Portal Developer, and Application Developer. Richard'swork at IBM involved project management, development, and consulting. Richard started their career at IBM as an Industrial Trainee at Hursley Labs.

Richard Blown obtained a BSc degree in Computing & Management from Loughborough University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have also pursued further certifications. In December 2015, Richard obtained the TOGAF 9 Part 1 certification from The Open Group. Richard then obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in May 2017. Most recently, Richard achieved the CMI Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring certification from ILM in January 2021.
