Ramar Transportation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in dangerous goods, explosives, and high-security logistics across the United States. We provide integrated transportation, transload, drayage, staging, and secure supply chain solutions for hazardous materials, arms, ammunition, explosives (AA&E), and sensitive freight movements.

Operating along the Atlantic Coast, Ramar delivers a single-operator logistics model that reduces risk, minimizes handoffs, and improves accountability for complex and high-consequence shipments. Our capabilities include hazardous materials transportation, secure in-transit holding, port drayage, Fire Marshal escort coordination, transloading operations, and specialized support for defense, industrial, and commercial customers.

Strategically positioned near the Port of Wilmington and Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point, we support freight movements across major East Coast ports with operational flexibility that allows many shipments to move under a single-driver model, reducing costs and increasing efficiency compared to traditional team-driver-dependent operations.

As a DOD-approved carrier with extensive hazardous materials experience, we support customers who require precision, compliance, security, and operational reliability in demanding logistics environments. Our mission is simple: provide dangerous goods and high-security transportation solutions under one accountable operator.
