Amy Jane Upton is an experienced dance educator and examiner with a diverse background in teaching and leadership roles within performing arts. Currently serving as a Teacher of Dance at Footworks Dance and a BTEC Examiner for Pearson, Upton has held various positions including A Level and BTEC Course Leader at Bexhill College and Director at LAX Dance Academy. Additionally, Upton teaches Rambert Grades and GCSE contemporary dance at Benenden School, and has previously lectured in performing arts at West Kent College. Upton’s educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the University of Chichester, a Postgraduate Degree with QTS in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance, and a Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management from CIPD.
