Daniel Rockefeller

Managing Scientist

Daniel Rockefeller is a Senior Project Scientist and Ecologist specializing in biodiversity and ecology at Ramboll since January 2019, following a tenure as an Ecologist at O’Brien & Gere. Prior to these roles, Daniel contributed as a GIS Analyst at the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, where responsibilities included GIS data management for recreational planning. Additional experience includes an outreach and education internship at New York Sea Grant, focusing on aquatic invasive species and public education, and a position as an iMapInvasives Database Intern at the New York Natural Heritage Program. Earlier roles also encompass land stewardship with The Nature Conservancy and a Backcountry Ranger Intern position with the National Park Service. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Forest and Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York institutions.
