Else Purdy has a background in civil engineering and quality management, having started their career as a Civil Engineer in the Tunnel Department at Mott MacDonald from 1990 to 1995. They later became a Senior Specialist in Quality Management at COWI from 1995 to 2023 and held the position of Quality Manager at Sweco from 2024 to 2025.
