Harvey Clewell is a Principal Consultant at Ramboll, specializing in chemical risk and safety assessment. An internationally recognized expert, Harvey has significantly contributed to the integration of mechanistic data and mode of action information into chemical risk assessments, notably advancing the use of physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling. Harvey has authored over 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters focusing on pharmacokinetics, dose-response analysis, genomics, and new alternative methods in chemical risk assessment. Prior to their current role, Harvey held several influential positions, including Senior Research Manager at ICF International and Director of the Center for Human Health Assessment at The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences. Harvey earned a Ph.D. in Toxicology from Utrecht University and an M.A. in Physical Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis.
