Jan Vig

Jan Vig is the Head of Monitoring and Analyses of existing structures, specializing in the analysis of carrying capacity in rail and road steel/concrete bridges. They have worked on various projects, focusing on rehabilitation, replacement, and strengthening of existing bridges, utilizing advanced modeling techniques and conducting third-party checks. Jan wrote a master thesis on the carrying capacity of plate bridges affected by ASR and was recognized as a Young FRI Engineer of the Year finalist in 2019 and the winner of the Danish Bridge and Tunnel Award in 2020. Jan's experience includes positions at COWI and Ramboll, where they advanced from a Student Assistant to Chief Project Manager and eventually to Senior Specialist and Head of Department. Jan received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
