Julia Lester

Julia Lester is a Principal at Ramboll Environ's Los Angeles office, bringing over 25 years of air quality expertise to the role. With a substantial background at the South Coast Air Quality Management District, Julia Lester held increasingly responsible positions for over 14 years, including serving as Particulate Matter Strategies Supervisor, where programs for the inventory, rule and plan development, modeling, and control of airborne particulate matter were implemented. Prior to that, as an Air Quality Specialist, Julia Lester conducted air quality attainment demonstrations for ozone and particulate matter and prepared State Implementation Plan submittals. Julia Lester holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
