Kim Barton

Kim Barton is a highly experienced professional in landscape architecture and communications, currently serving as a Senior Landscape Architect at Ramboll since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kim held various positions at IMS Consulting (Europe) Ltd, including Client Services Manager and Communications Manager, where responsibilities included promoting sustainability activities and managing stakeholder engagement for significant projects such as the Capital Metro project for the ACT Government. Kim has extensive experience in climate change communications, having worked for several government departments in Australia, where strategic communications and public engagement on climate-related issues were primary responsibilities. Kim's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture from the University of Gloucestershire and advanced degrees in Science, Culture, and Communication from Bath University and Environmental Science from Southampton University.
