Lynne Simpson

Lynne Simpson is a Principal Simulation Engineer at Ramboll, specializing in the Civil and Structural Engineering sector with over 25 years of post-graduate experience. Lynne utilized Finite Element analysis on a diverse range of projects, from large bridges to historic structures. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy focusing on the Interaction of Wind and Fabric Structures from the University of Bath. Lynne's early career included roles as a placement student at Berkshire County Council and Hoare Lea, as well as a part-time Laboratory Demonstrator while pursuing their Ph.D.
