Malcolm Macdonald

Malcolm Macdonald is a Senior Consultant at Ramboll, where they lead the Glasgow analysis team and manage UK resources. Previously, they served as Team Lead for Pre-Construction Wind Analysis at K2 Management, focusing on financial-grade energy production estimates and site condition assessments. With extensive experience in renewable energy, Malcolm held various roles at RES, culminating in their position as Wind Resource Analysis Manager, and they managed teams across multiple global projects. They also contributed as the UK Lead Expert on the IEC 61400-15 site assessment standard's working group. Malcolm earned a BEng (Hons) in Product Design Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Energy Systems and the Environment from the University of Strathclyde.
