Marketta Wainio

Marketta Wainio is the Global Head of Digital Design and Production at Ramboll Water, where they are responsible for the development and management of technology and digital design. Previously, Wainio worked as a Designer at Ramboll Finland from 2003 to 2011, contributing to civil engineering projects across multiple countries. They then served as a Project Manager at Viasys VDC and Civilpoint Oy, managing BIM processes and software development projects. Wainio also held the position of Development Manager at Helen, focusing on enhancing internal services and accelerating the green transition. They earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences in 2004.
