Mathias M. Stein

Mathias M. Stein has extensive experience in the environmental and health sectors, holding various leadership positions at Ramboll since June 2000, including Principal, Managing Director, and Managing Principal. Prior to this, a tenure at URS Corporation as Managing Principal lasted from January 1993 to December 1999, along with a similar role at Dames & Moore from January 1990 to December 1992. Early career experience includes positions as Senior Manager at Hannover Umwelttechnik and Off-Shore Exploration Geologist at ECS Services GmbH. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Sedimentology, Mineralogy, and Geology from Heidelberg University and a B.Sc. in Geophysics, Geology, and Mineralogy from The University of Göttingen. Formal education began with a Baccalauréat from Ecole Internationale du SHAPE and continued at Lycée International de Fontainebleau.
