Nigel Bird

Nigel Bird is the Director of Major Projects at Ramboll UK, where they oversee major project delivery and support for UK environmental science. With twenty years of leadership experience, they have previously held significant roles, including Interim Chief Operations Officer at NERC UK Research and Innovation and Finance Director at the Economic and Social Research Council. Nigel has a rich educational background, holding an MPLA in Major Project Delivery from Saïd Business School, a Master's in Global Business Strategy from Oxford Brookes University, and a Bachelor's in Environmental Biology from King's College London. They have consistently focused on delivering complex infrastructure projects and fostering commercial partnerships in the research sector.
