Nils Jänig

Nils Jänig is a Director at Ramboll Deutschland GmbH with nearly 30 years of experience in the light rail sector, focusing on technical disciplines in recent years. Based in Karlsruhe, they began their career with economic and demand studies and evolved into LRT operation and rolling stock technology. Nils has led one of the two departments at TTK and has engaged in significant tram and LRT projects across various English-speaking cities. Since joining Ramboll in 2014, they have overseen major projects, including the Fraport Terminal 3 People Mover, while managing the German Rail business comprising about 100 experts. Nils earned their Dipl.-Ing. in Verkehrswesen from Technische Universität Berlin.
