Thomas Newcomb

Thomas Newcomb is a senior chief consultant specializing in offshore wind advisory, with extensive experience managing complex consulting projects for both private and public sector clients. Thomas has led significant offshore wind projects in the U.S., including the development of New Jersey's Offshore Wind Strategic Plan. With a comprehensive understanding of the technical, economic, and political aspects of the U.S. offshore wind market, Thomas works as part of the Ramboll global offshore wind team, focusing on port evaluations and supply chain support. Thomas previously held roles in environmental science, including internships and positions with organizations such as the Student Conservation Association and East Bay Municipal Utility District, where they contributed to wildlife conservation and ecological monitoring efforts. Thomas earned a BA in Ecology and Conservation Biology from Boston University and an MS in Conservation Biology from San Francisco State University.
