Tim Fischer

Tim Fischer serves as the Global Executive Director and Vice President of Ramboll's Wind Business, overseeing a team of over 900 experts across 40 offices in 20 countries. Fischer has played a pivotal role in establishing Ramboll as a leader in offshore wind consulting, achieving significant organic growth and expanding the company’s global presence. With a strong foundation in wind energy research and management, Fischer has held various positions including Global Director Offshore Wind, Vice Director Ramboll Wind, and Head of Department Wind, contributing to the transformation of Ramboll's services from monopile design to a full-spectrum consultancy. As a board member of the Business Network for Offshore Wind and a member of the Supervisory Board for ForWind, Fischer is actively involved in promoting offshore wind energy development in the U.S. and Europe. Fischer holds advanced degrees in Wind Energy and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, DTU, and Hochschule Trier.
