Tomas Sys

Tomas Sys is a Principal in Sustainable Finance at Ramboll, with over 30 years of experience in environmental consultancy specializing in environmental and social due diligence (ESDD) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) assessment across over 40 countries. Tomas leads multi-disciplinary projects focused on transactional risk management and sustainability value creation for clients at the Board level, with particular expertise in environmental due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and compliance support. Prior roles include Technical Director at URS, where recognition came from winning the European M&A Consultancy of the Year 2015 award, and various leadership positions at AECOM, ERM, and RSK ENSR, underscoring a strong background in EHS risk management and advisory services. Educational credentials include an MSc in Land Improvement from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
