Vidar Glette

Vidar Glette is an experienced urban planner and consultant, currently employed at Ramböll Sweden since April 2016, where expertise includes urban planning, GIS, and spatial analysis. Previous roles include consultancy with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where guidelines for disability inclusion in emergency shelter programs were developed and trainings conducted in Indonesia and Nepal. At UN-Habitat, Glette served as a Shelter/Planning Officer, facilitating coordination between humanitarian relief and long-term planning. Experience also includes site planning for displaced families following the 2010 earthquake as a Senior Site Planner with the International Organization for Migration and leading shelter projects for Palestinian families with the Norwegian Refugee Council. An academic background includes a Master of Architecture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and studies at prestigious institutions such as the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and TU Wien.
