Sam Patel

Sam Patel has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1996 as a DRAM Engineer at IBM. Sam then moved on to AMD, where they worked as a Memory Sub-system Architect for 14 years. In 2015, Sam joined IDT as Director of New Product & Eco-System Development. When Renesas acquired IDT in 2020, they continued in their role, eventually becoming Sr. Director of Design Engineering, overseeing new product and eco-system development. From August 2022, Sam is currently working at Rambus as VP of New Product Development & Eco-System Enablement.

Sam Patel has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Technological University. Sam also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
