Simon Bussieres

Simon Bussieres has extensive work experience in the field of systems architecture and product management. Simon started their career at Matrox Electronics Systems in 2001, where they served as a Hardware Project Leader, Engineer, and PMP until 2013. Following that, they joined Hardent as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer and PMP from 2013 to 2022. During their time at Hardent, they also held the roles of Product Manager and Product Manager Engineer. Currently, they are working as the Director of Systems Architecture at Rambus, starting in 2022.

Simon Bussieres has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Université Laval, which they obtained between 1997 and 2001. In terms of executive education, they completed a Mini-MBA Series - EDC program at McGill University in 2023. Prior to this, in 2021, they also participated in an Executive Education program focused on Design Thinking at HEC Montréal. Back in 2019, Simon attended an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, specializing in Launching New Ventures. In addition, they received further professional training in Business Analysis for Project Managers at McGill University in 2016 and Agile Project Management at McGill University in 2013. Simon Bussieres also obtained their PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute in 2011.
