The Ramco Cements Limited (Revenue: ₹5300 crores) commissioned its first cement plant in 1961 with a capacity of 200 TPD (Tons per day) and since then has increased the number of cement plants to 11 (five integrated plants and six grinding units) and cumulative cement production capacity to over 20 MTPA (Million Tons per annum). One packing plant with a capacity of 120 tonnes per hour, one Ready Mix Concrete Plant, and a Dry Mix Mortar Plant have also been established by the company.
