Avi Sharon

Avi Sharon has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Avi is currently the Director of Engineering Projects at Ramon.Space since November 2021. Prior to this, Avi worked at Arbe from May 2020 to November 2021 as a Customer Project Manager & AE, contributing to the development of advanced ADAS and AV Perception solutions for the automotive market.

Before joining Arbe, Avi spent a significant portion of their career at Intel Corporation. From December 2018 to May 2020, they served as a Location-GNSS Project Manager. Avi also worked as an Ecosystem Manager & PM in the Location Core department from December 2012 to December 2018. Additionally, they served as a WiGig (60Ghz) Strategic Planner in the Mobile Wireless Group from June 2010 to December 2012.

Prior to Intel, Avi held various roles at Comsys Communication and Signal Processing Ltd. From August 2007 to May 2010, they were the Director of Product Management. Avi also worked as a Product Manager from November 2004 to August 2007 and as an Integration & QA Manager from November 2001 to November 2004.

Avi's career began at 3COM Corp. in October 1996, where they held multiple roles including R&D Functional Engineering Manager in the Network division and Software Project Manager in Network Management.

Avi started their professional journey as an R&D Engineering Manager at Mennen Medical in 1994.

Avi Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Herriot-Watt University. Furthermore, Avi has obtained additional certifications in the field of Self-Driving Cars Specialization from the University of Toronto in May 2020, and in Machine Learning from Stanford University in February 2020.
