David Cheng currently serves as the Manager of GTM Finance and Operations at Ramp, leading the Direct Sales Finance and Operations team since 2023. Previously, David was a member of the GTM Strategic Finance team, where responsibilities included overseeing all GTM acquisition channels and motions, as the first external hire. Prior to Ramp, David worked at Apple from 2021 to 2023 in Corporate Development and Strategy, contributing to a 10-person team focused on M&A and strategic projects. David's experience also includes a role as a Private Equity Associate at Parthenon Capital, where investments targeted tech-enabled services, and as an Investment Banking M&A Analyst at Perella Weinberg Partners, executing significant M&A and private equity buyout deals. David holds an education from The Wharton School and St. George's School.
