Ryne Carbone

Ryne Carbone is a highly experienced Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Ramp since July 2023, with a strong background in machine learning and data science. Prior to Ramp, Ryne held positions as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Square and as a Vice President - Data Scientist Lead at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Ryne's earlier experience includes roles as a Data Scientist at Unified and as a Graduate Student Researcher at Columbia University, where involvement in particle physics research at the CERN Large Hadron Collider focused on search for new particle resonances and precision timing calibration. Ryne also possesses a strong academic foundation, holding a PhD and Master’s Degree in Physics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by teaching experience in various physics courses.
