Ramps Inc. is a Japan-based startup building infrastructure for distributed living, starting from Higashikawa, Hokkaido.

As cities become increasingly dense and regions face population decline, existing mobility and tourism models tend to prioritize short-term, transactional movement. Many communities lack the foundation to welcome people as recurring participants in local life.

Ramps designs systems that make moving, staying, and returning easier over time, enabling people to build lasting relationships with places beyond one-time visits.

We work with municipalities, regional stakeholders, and hospitality operators — from small inns to mid-sized accommodations — to support long-term regional coordination.

A platform where people connect through clubs, events, and hands-on experiences of local life.
As part of ensembles, we operate an accommodation model for repeat visitors, supported by a patented on-site storage system that allows guests to leave belongings behind — creating continuity similar to a second home.

A hospitality and regional platform that integrates reservation and guest information, supporting accommodation operations and shared regional understanding.
