We’re a family owned, independent insurance and real estate agency, and we deliver fully customized solutions to individuals, groups, and businesses in Grinnell and in communities throughout Central Iowa.  We’ve been in business for more than 90 years, and four generations of our family have run our agency.  Traditions of selling coverages that reflect clients’ needs; being responsive; and being involved in the communities that our agency serves were begun by our founder and are also upheld by us.

We are a generalist agency, and this means that we provide a wide variety of insurance products.  We have access to several excess and surplus line markets through various broker arrangements, and this means that we can provide virtually any type of insurance to almost anyone or to any business.  Members of our staff are notaries, and they provide notary services to our clients free of charge.  Also, our clients can reach us outside of business hours if necessary.  We look forward to serving you.
