Ignacio Jara

Ignacio Jara is an experienced agricultural professional with a strong background in fruit production and operations management. Currently serving as Jefe Servicios Externos at Ranco Cherries since October 2022, Ignacio previously held the position of Subgerente Agrícola at Agrícola Los Culenes SpA from January 2021 to September 2023. Ignacio's earlier roles include Jefe Operaciones at Massai Agricultural Services SA, overseeing production processes, packing, and dispatch of fruit, as well as developing phytosanitary and nutritional programs for cherry, table grape, and stone fruit cultivation. Ignacio began at Massai Agricultural Services SA-Sociedad Agrícola South Pacific Ltda. as Supervisor of Processes and Quality within the fruit department, focusing on quality control and process administration for peaches, cherries, and export table grapes. Ignacio holds a degree in Ingeniero Agrónomo specializing in fruit production from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as diplomas in Poscosecha de Frutas and Asian Studies.
