Ziwei Liu

Ziwei Liu has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles and industries. Ziwei worked as a Legal Director at Random42 Scientific Communication since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Legal Counsel at Gett from October 2021 to June 2023. From June 2020 to October 2021, Ziwei worked as a Legal Counsel at HungryPanda Ltd. Before transitioning into corporate law, Ziwei gained valuable experience as a Dispute Resolution Lawyer at Slaughter and May from September 2017 to May 2020. Ziwei also had internships and externships at the Illinois Department of Labor, Circuit Court of Cook County, and Heavner Beyers & Mihlar, LLC. Additionally, Ziwei had roles as a Student Attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic and a Teaching Assistant for International Business Transactions while studying at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ziwei Liu obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business English from the University of International Business and Economics, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Ziwei then pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Ziwei Liu obtained several certifications including becoming a Solicitor in England and Wales from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in February 2020 and qualifying as an attorney in the State of New York, United States through the New York State Bar Association in May 2017.
