Andrea Marelli

International Sales Executive at Randox

Andrea Marelli has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. In 2014, they worked as a Lab Research Intern at the University of Fribourg, where they conducted research on molecular mapping of cortical circuits. They also completed a Bachelor Thesis on investigating the activation of cortical regions after a metabolic challenge.

In 2016, Andrea worked on their Master Thesis at the University of Bern, focusing on acute lung injury. They conducted research at the Organ-On-Chip laboratory and studied the development of acute lung injury.

In 2017, Andrea worked as a Scientific Collaborator at Universität Bern for a short period of time.

In 2018, Andrea joined Randox as an International Sales Executive, where they are currently responsible for international sales.

Andrea Marelli began their education in 2005 at Liceo Lugano 1, where they obtained their Matura degree in Economics and Law in 2009. Andrea continued their studies at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sport Sciences and Motor Control, with an option in health-performance-research. Andrea then pursued further education at the same institution from 2013 to 2015, completing a second Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, this time in Biomedical Sciences. Finally, Andrea attended the University of Bern from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Andrea obtained a certification in Module LTK1: Introductory Course in Laboratory Animal Science in June 2016.
