Finlay McAndrew

Finlay McAndrew has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career in 2018 with NHS Scotland, where they had a week-long role in Rehabilitation Engineering and Cardiology, gaining exposure to prosthetics, orthotics, cardiac devices, and surgical procedures. In 2019, they worked as a Bartender at G1 Group. In 2021, they joined Influwegians as a Team Member and Team Promotional Person, contributing to the development of an Influenza Biosensor and market analysis for a viable business plan. They also had a short internship experience at Bright Network in the same year. In 2022, Finlay worked as a Front of House at EL PERRO NEGRO GLASGOW LIMITED and later became a Supervisor at Franco Manca from September 2022 to April 2023. Currently, they are working as an Application Engineer at Randox starting from June 2023. Their work experience showcases their versatility, technical skills, and ability to adapt to different roles and industries.

Finlay McAndrew attended the University of Glasgow from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Finlay obtained certifications in MATLAB Onramp and Simulink Onramp from MathWorks in October 2020. They also completed The Complete Android 10 & Kotlin Development Masterclass from Udemy in June 2020.
