Nigel Casson has significant work experience in various scientific and research positions. Nigel began their career as a Research and Development Scientist at Cambrex Bioscience in 2001, where they worked until 2003. Nigel then joined AstraZeneca as a Senior Research Scientist and remained with the company until 2010. In 2010, Nigel joined the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, where they held multiple roles including Scientist 1 (Gastro-Intestinal DA) from September 2010 to October 2011, Scientist 1 from October 2011 to March 2014, and Scientist II (Cardiovascular and Metabolism DA) from April 2014 to July 2015. Since September 2015, Nigel has been working as a Senior Scientist, Biomarker Development at Randox.
Nigel Casson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Dundee from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Biomolecular Technology from the University of Nottingham from 2000 to 2001.
