Brian Root

Brian Root is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Range Resources, where they also held the positions of Senior Counsel and Associate Division Counsel from 2017 to 2021. Prior to their tenure at Range Resources, they worked as an Associate and Summer Associate at McGuireWoods from 2009 to 2017. Brian began their legal career as a Legal Intern at Alcoa in 2007 and previously served as a Paralegal at McGuireWoods LLP from 2004 to 2006. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Allegheny College and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
