Marcus Vlaar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of game development, media, and technology. As a Co-Founder of &Ranj since 1999, Vlaar has focused on creating serious games for corporate training, recruitment, and health. Additionally, as a Co-Founder of Hootchie Cootchie, Vlaar has led projects that explore the intersections of art and technology, currently working on a mobile game titled "MindFuck." Vlaar has contributed as a member of the advisory committee at WDKA, and previously, served as Co-Founder and Director of MAHVHPW Animation Architects, producing the animated TV series "Purno de Purno." With a background in education from HKU and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Vlaar has held positions such as Chairman of the Innovative Media Jury for the Japan Prize and Chairman of the Design Jury at WDKA, reflecting a commitment to innovation in educational media and design.
