Rong Chen has a work experience in the field of optical system design and hardware design. Rong worked at Nortel from June 2005 to March 2010, where they held the roles of EO Hardware Designer and later Optical System Designer. Chen then joined Ciena in March 2010 as a Senior Optical System Designer until May 2012. Currently, they are a Principal System Designer at RANOVUS Inc.
Rong Chen holds a Ph.D. from Queen's University.
