David Murgio

David Murgio is the current Chief Sustainability Officer at Ranpak. Prior to this, they were with One Madison Group. Before that, they were with Drivetrain, LLC from May 2018 to September 2018 where they served as an independent fiduciary director, Chapter 11 Plan administration, litigation trustee or liquidation trustee. From December 2009 to July 2016, they were with Harbinger as an investment counsel and senior legal advisor where they participated in restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and advised on corporate governance and strategic matters for Harbinger portfolio companies. From September 1999 to December 2009, they were with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as Of Counsel / Associate.

David Murgio studied political science and government as an undergraduate at Dartmouth College. David then went on to study international relations and affairs at Columbia University, where they earned their master's degree. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia University.

They work with Bert Cals - Director, Business Development, Jason Cho - Managing Director, Business Development, and Antonio Grassotti - Managing Director, APAC. David Murgio reports to Omar Asali, Chairman & CEO.
