Michael Gliedman

Chief Technology Officer at Ranpak

Michael Gliedman is the current Chief Technology Officer at Ranpak. Prior to this, they were Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer at the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1999 to 2017. There, they were responsible for identifying and applying technologies to enhance the fan/customer/employee experience. Michael partnered with business leaders to understand their goals and bring technology to bear to solve problems.

Some of their key accomplishments include building ground-breaking fan-facing interactive products such as nba.com/stats and NBA League Pass Broadband International, creating a network infrastructure to power all content creation and distribution activities, partnering with NBA business areas on multi-million dollar/year sponsorship deals, and building the League’s first cyber-security program.

Before their time at the NBA, Gliedman was an Operating Advisor at Littlejohn & Co from 2018 to 2019, advising portfolio companies on the strategic application of technology across consumer and industrial verticals. Prior to that, they were at Blue Strat Advisors.

Michael Gliedman's educational career began with a BA in Computer Science from Brandeis University. Michael then went on to earn an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School.
