Peter Claydon

They are the Chief Executive Officer of RANsemi, a British semiconductor company that develops Open RAN standard-compliant baseband SoCs and carrier-grade software for 5G and 4G radio access networks. They served as President of Picocom from 2018 to 2024 and as Managing Director of Airspan Networks from 2011 to 2013. They have held leadership and engineering positions at Conexant (General Manager, 2000), picoChip Designs Ltd (COO, 2000–2009), Pioneer Digital Design Centre Ltd (Principal Engineer, 1992–1997), and GEC Marconi Avionics (Principal Engineer, 1984–1990), among other roles. They bring experience across wireless and Internet of Things, from low-power radios through to cellular networks and cloud platforms, with strengths in hardware, embedded software, semiconductors, and data analytics.
