Rap Therapy: Strengthening young people's mental health through rap.

Rap Therapy is an education and wellbeing organisation dedicated to empowering young people through creative expression, literacy, and therapeutic rap. We partner with schools across the UK to improve student behaviour, confidence, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning, particularly for those at risk of exclusion. We work with a wide scope of children and are not limited to children at risk of exclusion, we work to help young people express themselves, overcome anxieties and give children the tools to express themselves.

Our programmes combine creativity, pastoral support, and curriculum-linked literacy to help students build resilience, develop positive communication skills, and strengthen their mental health. We work closely with senior leaders, safeguarding teams, and pastoral staff to create safe, supportive environments where young people feel seen, valued, and motivated to succeed.

What we deliver:

Creative rap-based wellbeing workshops
Targeted interventions for high-needs pupils
Whole-cohort assemblies & enrichment events
Staff CPD on behaviour, inclusion & culture
Literacy and emotional-intelligence programmes
Mentoring & therapeutic support for students

Our impact:

Improved mental health & self-confidence
Increased engagement in learning
Better behaviour & emotional regulation
Stronger relationships and school belonging
Reduced risk of exclusion & social disengagement.

Every young person deserves to develop their voice, build their identity, and thrive in education. Through culturally relevant practice, creativity, and genuine connection, Rap Therapy helps students transform challenges into confidence and potential into progress.

We work with children as young as 7 years old, right through to young people aged 18.
