Raphaëlstichting
Jules van Dam currently serves as President of FEANTSA, focusing on improving the situation of homeless individuals in Europe since June 2024. Additionally, Jules is a Member of the supervisory board at Raphaëlstichting and has extensive experience in social care, having been the Director/Chairman of Stichting De Tussenvoorziening from 1994 to September 2024, supporting vulnerable populations such as the homeless, addicts, and families in need. Previously, Jules was Chairman of Armoedecoalitie Utrecht from September 2009 to January 2023, leading efforts to alleviate poverty in the region. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in economics from the University of Amsterdam and various studies at Utrecht University and the University of Groningen.

Raphaëlstichting
De Raphaëlstichting biedt zorg aan mensen met een verstandelijke beperking. Zij is daarnaast actief in de psychiatrie en verpleeghuiszorg. Er werken 1.400 medewerkers op diverse locaties in Noord-Holland voor 1.200 cliënten van alle leeftijden. De Raphaëlstichting werkt vanuit een antroposofische geïnspireerde zorgvisie waarin de individuele ontwikkeling van cliënt en medewerker voorop staat. Binnen een intensief gemeenschapsleven is er veel aandacht voor kunst en cultuur. Het centraal bureau is gevestigd in Schoorl.
