Raphson is the grid intelligence platform for European distribution system operators (DSOs).

Europe's distribution grids are being asked to connect more renewables, EVs and heat pumps than they were ever built for, and the answer can't only be more copper. Raphson helps DSOs unlock 40% more grid capacity per euro by running their software on one canonical, physics-validated digital twin instead of a dozen disconnected silos.

One model sits under the entire grid lifecycle:
• Observe: read-only state estimation and grid awareness from SCADA and smart-meter data
• Plan: scenario-driven network development planning and TOTEX investment optimisation
• Connect: connection requests, hosting capacity and flexible connections
• Operate: advisory operational decision support (never real-time control)
• Maintain: asset health, risk and predictive maintenance
• Settle: metering, network tariffs, settlement and regulatory reporting

AI agents handle the repetitive engineering work, but every result is physics-verified, confidence-scored, audit-logged and human-gated. Control always stays in the operator's certified systems, because the SCADA boundary is enforced by construction.

Raphson is EU-sovereign by design (EU-hosted, private-cloud or on-premises) and built for European regulation: NIS2, the EU AI Act and GDPR.

Spun out of a decade of award-winning distribution-grid research at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna, recognised with Austria's Houska Prize 2026, Raphson is built by people who have run real grids and scaled real software companies.
