Abir Koren

Abir Koren is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist at Rapid7 since October 2023, Abir is spearheading the establishment of the company's AI practice and successfully deployed a phishing website identification model. Prior to this role, Abir was the Data Science Team Lead at Windward, overseeing a research team focused on strategic projects and delivering essential services across the organization. Abir's earlier positions include a Data Science Team Lead at Leadspace, where significant advancements were made in predictive modeling and project delivery, as well as experience as a Quantitative Researcher at AlphaBeta. Abir holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
