Andrew C.

Andrew C. has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Engineer at Advanced Acoustic Concepts in 2010. Andrew then worked as a Malware Analyst at iSIGHT Partners from May 2011 to August 2011, where they analyzed and triaged malcode, performed behavioral analysis, and authored technical reports. In 2011, Andrew joined Rochester Institute of Technology as a Graduate Assistant, providing tutoring support and grading assignments. Andrew then joined Mandiant in July 2012 as a Consultant, before moving to Rapid7 in September 2016. At Rapid7, they initially served as a Senior Incident Response Consultant until February 2021, and then transitioned to the role of Lead Detection and Response Analyst from February 2021 onwards.

Andrew C. obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Rochester Institute of Technology in the year 2012. Andrew also obtained the GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) certification from GIAC Certifications in May 2020.
